The Healing Quest PLLC

The Healing Quest:

Our Approach

What We Believe

We believe healing is a journey—not a destination. Our work is about walking alongside individuals who are ready to explore the impact of past experiences, challenge old patterns, and reconnect with their authentic selves.

As a multi-state practice, and continuing to expand, we offer virtual therapy designed to meet you where you are - both geographically and emotionally. Whether you’re navigating transitions in a rural area, a new duty station, or simply seeking flexible support from home, our services are accessible across many state lines.

Who We Work With

Many of our clients come to us feeling overwhelmed, stuck in cycles of people-pleasing, or unsure of who they are outside the roles they’ve been expected to fill. Some carry the weight of trauma, both big and small, that continues to shape how they move through the world. Others find themselves constantly giving to others at the expense of their own well-being—unsure how to say “no” without guilt or how to create boundaries that actually feel safe and sustainable.

We specialize in helping individuals recognize how early experiences, relationships, and survival strategies are still influencing their current thoughts, emotions, and behaviors. Together, we explore these patterns with compassion and curiosity—not criticism or shame—so that meaningful healing can begin.

A Neurodiversity- and Identity-Affirming Space

We recognize that trauma and neurodiversity often intersect. Many of our clients live with diagnosed or undiagnosed ADHD or other forms of neurodivergence that have been misunderstood, overlooked, or unsupported throughout their lives. We approach ADHD not as a deficit, but as a different way of experiencing the world—one that requires creativity, flexibility, and compassion. Whether you’re learning to manage executive functioning challenges, unlearning internalized shame, or parenting a neurodivergent child, we’re here to support you with strategies that honor your unique brain and lived experience.

We are also proud to be an affirming and inclusive practice, welcoming individuals across the spectrum of gender, sexuality, neurodivergence, and identity. As allies to the 2SLGBTQIA+ community and advocates for neurodiverse voices, we strive to create a space where all clients feel respected, seen, and supported in their healing journey.

Support for Parents & Families

The effects of trauma, people-pleasing, and emotional disconnection often ripple into the next generation. Many of the adults we work with are parents who see their children beginning to struggle in similar ways—with anxiety, emotional overwhelm, or difficulty regulating their feelings and behaviors. Even if we’re only working with you now, your healing has the power to shift the dynamic in your home.

As our practice grows, we will begin offering therapy for children as well—creating a space where both you and your child can be supported in growing, healing, and connecting more deeply with yourselves and each other.

How We Help

This isn’t surface-level work. It’s deep, transformative healing that honors both your resilience and your pain. Whether you’re navigating burnout, anxiety, life transitions, or the long aftermath of trauma, we offer a space that is grounded, collaborative, and tailored to your needs.

Our sessions are rooted in evidence-based practices and guided by a relational, trauma-informed, and strengths-focused lens. We integrate somatic awareness, attachment theory, and nervous system education to help you better understand—and care for—yourself in new, sustainable ways.

Most importantly, we believe in your capacity to grow—even when the path is hard or winding. You don’t have to walk it alone.
